Bushfire planning

Our bushfire planning team is highly skilled and committed to providing bushfire protection measures in accordance with the suite of bushfire planning policies. This ensures that we are creating bushfire resilient communities and prioritising the protection of life from bushfire risks.

For projects in regional and growth areas, our team’s expertise is essential in evaluating how and where development can be located to manage bushfire risks effectively. We collaborate with clients and relevant authorities to create comprehensive bushfire management plans. These include site and landscape hazard assessments and the implementation of design measures such as perimeter roads, setbacks to hazards and consideration of potential new hazards arising from landscaping and revegetation.

By collaborating closely with our urban design and engineering teams, we integrate practical bushfire mitigation strategies into every project’s design
