This subdivision will be home to 400 residential lots in 10 stages. Adjacent to McIvors Road and Northern Highway and located within Mitchell Shire Council’s Kilmore South-East Development Plan, this subdivision is set to serve the growing community.

The project has included significant outfall sewer services, including 4 kilometres of sewer which, in partnership with Goulburn Valley Water, shall address capacity issues within the Kilmore township and open the area within the development plan. This sewer extension involves complex cultural heritage matters amongst many other challenges.

A new signalised intersection has recently been completed at Northern Highway & McIvors Road which was delivered in partnership with the council and the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP, previously VicRoads). Significant road and drainage upgrades were also required.

The Millar Merrigan team are working closely with the various authorities to deliver all aspects of this project. This includes Mitchell Shire Council, Goulburn Valley Water, the Department of Transport and Planning, Taugurung Land & Waters Council, Heritage Victoria as well as the utility providers. All project decisions are ultimately guided by our client with whom we maintain an excellent relationship.

Millar Merrigan has secured many positive outcomes for our client outside of the typical ‘business as usual’ matters that vacant land subdivisions attract. These have ultimately been achieved as a result of our advanced understanding of the requirements of the various authorities and knowing what is negotiable and what isn’t.
