DPCD Design Case Studies recognises Williamstown Junction

The Department of Planning and Community Development has recognised Williamstown Junction, Newport, designed by Millar Merrigan, as a residential development that illustrates specific design solutions in established areas and has included it within their Design Case Study.

It notes that ‘this development shows that individual house design is not incompatible with medium density, row-type housing and in fact can provide a more “real” visual outcome. It also trials innovative ways of dealing with garaging and stormwater control with Parkland.’

See the DPCD website for the case study and refer to the multi-stage subdivision page of our website for further details of this project.
