Knox, Whitehorse & Monash Housing Strategies

As a result of reformed residential zones, Council’s are preparing housing strategies to guide future development.

Knox City Council, Whitehorse City Council and Monash City Council have all adopted housing strategies and planning scheme amendments are on exhibition.

Each of these strategies and subsequent planning scheme amdendments have significant implications on the development potential of residential land. They introduce new and varied controls including minimum lot sizes, private open space requirements, tree planting requirements and built form controls, to name a few.

If you have a property in any of these Council’s please refer to the following links for further details.  If you would like advice on the development potential of your land, contact us to discuss.
